: pommel

: Cylindrical walking-cane pommel, flaring out at top. Spirally fluted with spiral scrolls around base above wavy moulding; blue enamel husks alternating with acanthus on scroll area. Around top, double riband entwined round a straight line with four leaf motifs. On top, ring of blue enamel over tooled ground with bows top and bottom; in centre, blue enamel building, ?a kiln, with a tower in front, trees and bushes; radiating lines on ground. Engraved around bottom: 'Skiankt af R.Finlay. A:1767'.
