Object Name: saucer

Description: Deep saucer with well and sloped ogee-form sides; moulded shaped edge and two cartouches. Painted in onglaze coloured enamels and gilding (pattern number 5564): green ground with all-over gilt scrolls surrounding two reserves painted with (1) a floral spray with a pink daisy, two orange-centred yellow flowers, a convolvulus, etc and (2) two butterflies (orange with black spots and black with orange markings) and leaves, all on buff grounds; gilt detailing on rim and around reserves.
