Object Name: saucer

Description: Deep saucer with well and sloped ogee-form sides; moulded shaped edge and two cartouches. Painted in onglaze coloured enamels and gilding (pattern number 5564): green ground with all-over gilt scrolls surrounding two reserves painted with (1) a floral spray with pink rose, two yellow flowers, two purple auriculas, orange/white tulip, etc and (2) two butterflies (black with two orange spots & blue and yellow with black markings) and leaves, all on buff grounds; gilt detailing on rim and around reserves.
