Object Name: flask

Description: Round, flat bellied flask with short cylindrical neck with moulded round rim. Painted in orange, yellow, green, blue and brown. On one face, a stylised flower spray with feathery leaves, on the other, a central 8-armed cross, each arm terminating in a stylised flower spray; on sides, a bellflower meander, yellow flowers on one side of stem, blue on the other; stylised meander on neck; blue rim. Dated below neck on cross face: 1820 and initialled on other face 'SS'.
