Printed numbers, 1,2,3 relate to key which does not survive. Inscribed in top corners in grey: ' PUBLISHED WITH THE YOUNG LADIES' JOURNAL ' and ' AUGUST PART 1882. ' across bottom in grey: ' DESIGN FOR ANTIMACASSAR &c. IN EMBROIDERY, AND KEY TO WORKING SCREEN PANEL ON SUPPLEMENT. // [in red] Messrs.J.BEDFORD & Co., 186 Regent Street, and 23 Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road, London, W., supply the above design for Antimacassars traced on Broché Satin Sheeting in pale blue or old gold, // with Crewel Silks for working, at 4/6; commencing, 1/6; postage, 3d.extra.
