Printed letters A A B C D E F relate to key which does not survive. Inscribed in top corners in grey: ' PUBLISHED WITH THE YOUNG LADIES' JOURNAL ' and ' SEPT PART. 1882. ' across bottom in grey: ' DESIGN FOR ANTIMACASSAR &c. IN EMBROIDERY, AND KEY TO WORKING SCREEN PANEL ON SUPPLEMENT. // Messrs.J.BEDFORD & Co., 186 Regent Street, W., and 23 Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road, London, W., supply the above design for Antimacassar traced on Broché Satin Sheeting, with Crewel Silks for working, // at 4/6 each; or on White Crash or Zulu Cloth, with Crewels for working, at 3/- each; commencing, 1/6; postage, 2½d. extra.
