: Gentleman's high ordinary bicycle or 'penny farthing', the Clifton made by Thomas Pitcher, Bristol, for Francis Fry. Rod brake on main wheel. Steel cage pedals. Leather covered seat. 57" front wheel, 17.5" rear wheel, solid rubber tyres. Overall painted black including handlebars and normally bright parts.Turned ivory handlebar grips.
