Tramcar seat

From the upper deck of a Bristol tram Charles Challenger, traffic manager of the Bristol Tramways & Carriage Company, invented a hinged seat-cover for use in bad weather. If one side of the seat was wet, this wooden cover could be tipped to reveal a dry side.
