Description: Woven, twilled pattern. Basket is fringed at top and tapers off at bottom, with a plaited tie. Weft elements are passed over and under two or more warp elements at a time. Applied uniformly this method produces an effect of diagonal lines across the basket. In this way and also by the use of variously coloured elements highly decorated effects may be easily produced.
