Bill for wine, about 1550

Sampson Hammersley, a Bristol merchant, sold wine Edmond Hancockes, a Lichfield man. The bill came to £2 8s 9¼d, equivalent to spending £600 on wine today. We do not know if this was to sell on in Lichfield or for his personal use.
