: Beige body, glazed. Jug tapers in from wide base above a pedestal foot and flares to short neck and curving lip, shaped rim; square topped scrolled and leaf-moulded handle. Relief-moulded decoration: foliate scrolls and shells around neck and below lip, still leaf ornament above foot. Male head-and-shoulders on each side, identified on scrolls as 'SIR R.PEEL' and 'R.COBDEN M.P.'
