: Brass 'Om' symbol and stand (attached). Om (or Aum) is a sacred sound and symbol in Hinduism and other Indic religions, such as Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Representing the essence of ultimate reality, consciousness, and the universe, Om is chanted during prayers, meditation, and rituals. It is considered the primordial sound from which all creation emerged, making it central to spiritual practice and temple worship.
