: String of pink plastic 'popper' beads. Bought from Woolworths on Broadmead in the late 1950s, costing around 2s. Popper beads were a big craze at this time and although they could be worn with the colours mixed up, the donor remembers mostly wearing them as a single colour string, knotted and worn to one side.
