: Hanging strop (used to straighten and polish razor blades). Leather and metal. 'JOHN HALL/ CUTLER/ BIRMINGHAM, BRISTOL,/ CARDIFF, NEWPORT,/ SWANSEA'. One end is inscribed 'FINISH', the other says 'SHELL HORSE HIDE'.
