Description: European, painted and printed paper fan. Paper leaf with lithograph design. Hand coloured in gouache. Painted with a pastoral scene, figures in 18th century costume amid pale blue border painted with gilded woralls, flowers and music. Reverse painted & gilded with formal (possibly floral) spray amid narrow gold border. Bone sticks and guards with painted, gilded and silvered decoration.
