: Knobkerrie, wood shaft, pyrographic pattern, plain round head which has been separately carved and added. Appears to be broken and repaired by splinting it with a piece of square timber, tied with red tape, tape and string. Lots of string around top. Label ‘Africa Tanganyika Knobkerrie (walking stick/weapon. Given by the Chest & Heart Association London, 17/11/1959.’ Number on shaft '47'.
