Description: Women's night gown. Made from white cotton with a high neckline formed with a band which is trimmed with hand worked lace.The front has a shirt placket opening trimmed on either side with the same lace as the neckline. There are three cloth covered buttons and hand worked buttonholes. Both sides of the front have a vertical band of pin tucks. The back has a yoke into which the skirt is gathered. The set in sleeve is gathered at the shoulder. Fullness at the wrist is pintucked into a band which is trimmed with matching lace.
