: Kachin garters -both made from cotton with rayon and wool embroidery, and floating weft. Embroidered in a geometric design in red and black. One edge has a wide border(100mm) of black twill with multi coloured embroidery. This is bound with narrow red fabric. Narrow strip at the ankle of the black fabric which is stitched to a piece of the natural coloured fabric - this has an insert to widen it to fit around the calf. Bottom edge is bound in red cloth and top edge is hemmed. Whole item hand stitched.
