Object Name: Armament

Description: Curved metal blade with a carved handle of dark wood decorated with hair and wire, in a sheath of lighter wood, with decorative carvings and hide and cord details. Dayak people, Sarawak. The wire binding is loose. Scabbard is in two parts (it has a slit). Sheath has lost most of its hair. Carved decoration on one side.
