Description: Indigo dyed cloth, hand-woven narrow strip, 120mm wide hand sewn together into a large wrapper. Heavy cotton with black stripe, dyed in indigo. One side is dark blue with a darker stripe, other side is pale blue with black stripe. Paper label 'From the Colonial and Indian Collections of the Imperial Institute, London, SW7'. (label is actually missing). From the same period. Much paler on one side.
