Description: Wooden peg doll with wooden unjointed arms and legs. Painted face with red cheeks, a small cap of dark hair. Red painted shoes. Dressed in long cotton dress (disproportionate to size of doll) decorated with bands of red embroidery. Red ribbon around waist. Probably of central European origin c.1840
