Object Name: fire extinguisher

Description: Hand held fire extinguisher comprising two metal cylinders with separate handle and trigger, contained in a tin box (TD5435.2) for self assembly. 'ANTIFYRE / THE PISTOL EXTINGUISHER (REG)' is clearly marked in a gold and red cartouche on one cylinder piece, and repeated on a black and gold metal label attached to the lid of the box. Two additional screws and nuts are included in the box, along with drill tool, these may or may not be part of the kit. Issued to Charles Henry Taylor of Fishponds, Redfield and Kingswood, a Fire Watcher and Air Raid warden during WWII.
