Description: Pair of flintlock overcoat pistols by Stephens, Bristol. Octagonal iron Damascus twist barrel with front and rear sights, the breech with gold lined and inset with gold makers mark 'Stephens, Bristol'. Engraved barrel tang. Retained to the stock with 2 barrel slides. Walnut full-stock with short and curving chequered grip. Engraved iron furniture consisting; trigger guard with pineapple finial, and single ramrod pipe. Horn fore-end cap. Wooden ramrod with horn tip and brass end. Flintlock sidelock with flat engraved plate signed Stephens. Roller frizzen and sliding bolt safety.
