The fluted barrel with white metal blade sight and ejector rod and stamped along the top edge 'Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Mass.Pat.April 3.55 July 5.59 & Nov 2.65'. The rear part of the frame forming a support for the wooden 'birds-head' form grips. Stud trigger. 2-piece walnut grips with central screw fixing.
