Description: Percussion sporting rifle of small dimensions by George Gibbs, Bristol Octagonal rifled (9 grooves) barrel with under-rib holding 2 ramrod pipes(rear pipe with sling swivel support), and signed 'G.Gibbs, Bristol'. Blade foresight and 2 leaf folding rear sight. Constructed with a false breech. Engraved barrel tang. Barrel secured to the stock by 1 barrel slide with white metal side-plates. Wooden ramrod with brass tip and end. Walnut half stock with chequered wrist, engraved iron furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard with finger grip and forward ramrod pipe. White metal escutcheon and sling swivel support. Flat engraved percussion lock signed 'G.Gibbs'. Secured to the stock by 1 sidenail.
