: Double barreled centre-fire shotgun. Side by side round Damascus twist barrels with upper and lower ribs, the upper rib with indistinct signature. Bead foresight. Barrels stamped with London proof marks and numeral 13; and 'Page Wood & Co.'. Length 76cm. Iron action with finely engraved standing breech, the breech engraved 'The Automatic 127 Patent'. Action 'table' stamped with London proof marks. Barrel release lever pushes forward to open breech, extract cartridges and re-cock hammers. Walnut stock with chequered wrist, and walnut detachable and chequered forestock. Engraved iron furniture comprising; trigger guard with long tang. White metal escutcheon. Ribbed horn butt plate. Right and left finely engraved side-locks signed 'T.P. Wood'. Secured to the stock by 1 sidenail. Wooden mahogany case with brass corners and lock, catches and carrying handle. The case lining and compartments missing (green baise). 2 wooden and brass cleaning rods present. Size 85.6cm x 23.3cm.
