Description: Percussion shotgun, England c1850. Octagonal to round barrel with under-rib holding 2 ramrod pipes (1 missing). Constructed with a false breech which is engraved and has a gold line. Engraved barrel tang. Barrel secured to the stock by 1barrel slide with white metal side-plates. Ramrod missing. Walnut half stock with chequered wrist, engraved iron furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard and forward ramrod pipe. White metal fore-end cap. Back-action engraved percussion lock - unsigned. Secured to the stock by 1 sidenail.
