: Flintlock blunderbuss of very large size. 3 stage brass barrel, octagonal, 16 sided then round to the muzzle) with flared and ringed muzzle, the breech stamped with London Gunmakers Company proof marks and the barrel makers mark WH under a crown (probably William Heasler 1689-1718). Raised breech ring and iron breech plug and drum and nipple conversion to flintlock. Retained to the stock with 1 barrel pin. Exposed fore-end of bass with brazed on ramrod pipe. Wooden ramrod. Walnut stock shortened during its working life. Plain brass furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard, sideplate with retaining screw and 1 ramrod pipe. Flat form lock, converted from flintlock, signed Cook. Retained to the stock by 2 sidenails.
