Description: Flintlock military blunderbuss of large size. Round iron barrel, with flared muzzle, the breech stamped with London Gunmakers Company proof marks (feint). Retained to the stock with 1 barrel pin and large iron swivel for mounting on a wall or ship side. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Walnut stock with hand-rail form wrist, raised apron behind the barrel tang and plain brass furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard, sideplate and 1 ramrod pipe. round form late Land Pattern flintlock, signed 'Rea' (John Rea, London 1790-1814) and stamped with Ordnance inspectors marks. Retained to the stock by 2 sidenails.
