Description: Flintlock military style blunderbuss. Round brass barrel of cannon form, with flared muzzle and ring moulding at breech; the breech stamped with London Gunmakers Company proof marks and Tower private proofs. Retained to the stock with 2 barrel pins. Ramrod missing. Walnut stock with hand-rail form wrist and flattened butt comb, raised apron behind the barrel tang. Iron barrel tang. Plain brass furniture comprising; nailed-on butt plate, trigger guard, escutcheon engraved No. 2, flat sideplate and 1 ramrod pipe. Flat form late flintlock with boarder line engraving, signed Bailey. Cock missing. Retained to the stock by 2 sidenails.
