Description: English flintlock blunderbuss, fitted with French flintlock. Brass cannon form barrel formed in 2 stages, octagonal at the breech then round to the flared muzzle. The muzzle formed with cannon like ring mouldings, the engraved breech stamped with private proof marks, P & V within ovals and makers mark TK. Engraved iron barrel tang. Retained to the stock with 2 barrel pins. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. Walnut full stock with engraved brass furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard with ///// finial, sideplate with stand of arms motif and 2 ramrod pipes. Engraved flat form military style flintlock,engraved Charlesville. Retained to the stock by 2 sidenails.
