Description: Albini-Braedlin single shot breech-loading military rifle. Round steel barrel with octagonal breech, rifled with grooves. Blade foresight and adjustable ramp rearsight. The breech stamped with various Ordnance markings including . Breech-loading action with hinged breech-block, the block pivoting upwards for loading and containing a firing pin and hinged extractor, each component stamped with Ordnance marks. Attached to the stock by 2 steel barrel bands (the forward band with a sling swivel) and nose-cap, each with a spring retainer. Wooden full-stock with steel furniture comprising butt-plate, trigger guard with rear sling swivel. Side lock with hammer, the plate stamped JP50 within shield. Retained to the stock by 1 sidenail.
