Object Name: crossbow

Description: English crossbow with broad steel bow held to the stock by iron brackets and secured with iron staples. Wooden stock or tiller of rectangular form with bone and mother of pearl inlays (some missing). The top with a bone bolt channel and bone nut. Gaffle pegs missing. Iron stirrup (damaged) at the fore-end. Iron trigger sear lever with folding safety lever.
