: Large target-shooting crossbow with steel bow. The steel bow held to the wooden stock (tiller) by iron bridle plates, these secured by iron staples. Wooden stock or tiller formed with a hand rest or support. The butt of rectangular form with rounded top and formed with a thumb groove. The tiller inset with iron plates to support the gaffle pegs. D-shaped stirrup at front end. Bone bolt channel and some bone inlay behind the nut. Brass nut and decorative trigger release lever.
