Description: English flintlock shotgun, c1800 of very crude form. Iron barrel constructed in 2 stages, octagonal to round, with lower rib and false breech. 2 crudely constructed ramrod pipes (75.5cm). Engraved barrel tang. Bead fore-sight. Barrel secured to the stock by 1barrel slide with silver side-plates. Wooden ramrod. Crudely formed wooden half stock, with crude iron furniture comprising butt plate and trigger guard. Iron trigger. Lock missing.
