Description: Card game, The Yankee Trader or the Laughable Game of What D'ye Buy, by Dr Busby. Wooden box. Lid picture depicts man with mutton chops with a box of gifts, surrounded by children in hats and bonnets. Twelve picture cards with plain backs, depicting different trades: butcher baker, barber, bookseller, apothecary, hardware dealer, fisherman, musical instruments maker, tin plate worker, farmer, tailora and contains anearly depiction of 'black' person, as a barber. Seventy-two small cards listing items that relate to one of the trades in the picture cards. Instruction sheet and duplicate instructions sheet.
