: textile: Close fitting masquerade costume of cotton and wool. Two projecting nipples and naval cone. Made in two halves and sewn on to the dancer after put on. From old index card: "Close fitting combination garment of red cotton with a coarse striped backing, decorated with stripes of cotton and felt and woolen thread. Geometric patterns; horizontal stripes, triangles, zig-zags, cross hatching, circles and diagonals. There are two prominent nipples made of red cotton, decorated and tightly stuffed with ? wood chips and a smaller navel made in the same way. The dress has a slit opening at the neck and was made in two halves and sewn on to the dancer after it was put on."
