: Large comb with 27 teeth and with one spoke lying across them. Handle consists of 2 sticks crossed at the top, merging into a large black triangle inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Handles and teeth are stained black. There are 30 pieces of shell, all triangular and notched. The handle wood has a bit of cross-hatching. There are 2 different patterns of shell decoration. At the handle top is a stick bound on and adding support (presumably) to the teeth protruding out the top of the handle. Just below the tips of most of the teeth lies another stick (unstained), bound on to hold the teeth in place.
