: Bristol Anti- Apartheid banner. Painted fabric. Yellow border 'NKOSI SIKELELI AFRIKA' (Repeated. N.B. this is the name of a song that became South Africa's national anthem. It symbolised the struggle for unity and liberation in South Africa). Central rectangle is illustrated with pictures of people and the words: 'A LUTA CONTI'[nua] (the struggle continues)/ 'SANCTIONS NOW'/ 'AMANDLA' (in IsiXhosa this means "power" and it was used as a rallying cry) / 'VICTORY IS CERTAIN'/ 'BRISTOL ANTI-APARTHEID'.
