: textile: Mola panel or reverse appliqué embroidery. Panels used to make the blouse worn by women: also now for sale to tourists. Three layers of cotton, red, orage, black, cut and stitched to make geometric pattern, with applied patches of yellow, blue, green, pink adding to the design. One edge bordered with green, yellow and black with rickrack braid. Hand sewn. Bottom layer marked with stitching. Old and faded.
