: Chullu, hat, knitted in homespun sheep's wool in natural brown and white, with earflaps, no tassels or ties. Crown knitted on 5 needles in stocking stitch, earflaps in purl for rigidity. Crown worked in white on a brown ground, with 2 bands of stars and diamonds, a band of birds and animals, then bands of randomly placed animal and band motifd with a final band of stars. Earflap design in 2 halves, alternating colours. Sold by an old man from Japu, near Uncia.
