Description: Chullu, hat, knitted in acrylic yarn, with earflaps, tassel on crown and tasselled ties. Crown knitted in stocking stitch, with 3 wide bands with reverse empasis, key, male and female dancers, and barley grains (siwara tostado) motifs, typical Puno Lakeside motifs. Also 2 narrow bands of alternating coloured squares, coppied from Aymara warp-faced weaving, called kotu. Motif bands separated by rainbow blended bands, matizado. Earflaps knitted first and crown knitted onto them.
