Object Name: coffin fitting

Description: Carved hand coffin fitting. Wooden right hand from a coffin. It is made of thin flat wood, with a coat of plaster painted in yellow. There are nail lines and finger creases painted in red paint, and the nails are filled in with white paint. There is a hole on the back for a wood peg. It is a long fingered female (?) hand.
