: High shouldered vase with flat base and a lip at the rim and around the base. The lid consists of a circular washer with a hole in the centre which has a rim that fits into the top of the vase. The lid proper is circular and slightly domed and has a raised portion in the centre which fits into the washer. The inside of the vase is coated in black powder (kohl).
