: Medusa head coffin fitting. A moulded pottery piece in the shape of a woman's head with curly hair which goes down to her chin. The eyes, nostrils and mouth are moulded and there is a dimple on her chin (although this may be a result of firing). She has painted red hair and the back is hollow. It was cracked in half, and is now repaired.
