Object Name: cast

Description: Cast of a panel showing: A battle between the Greeks and the Amazons. On the left is a Greek male (?) facing right to grapple with a central Amazon (lower legs of both presumably missing from antiquity). On the right stands an Amazon looking back over her shoulder and supporting a fallen Amazon on the extreme right. Marked "531" on wet plaster. The plaster is much softer and heavier than the other casts and is reinforced with a metal bar at the back. Bottom left has damaged black paint "12" (?). Probably the left hand panel from the south side frieze (battle between the Greeks and the Amazons).
