: stirrup jar

: Percked up globular stirrup jar on a ring base; concave false-neck decorated with concentric circles on top. Stirrup handles, short tubular spout with everted rim and still sealed by the original stopper. The vessel is made of buff clay and similar slip, decorated with lustrous borwn-orange paint: wide and narrow circular bands around the body and shoulder, solid paint on the handles and rim, concentric circles on the underside of the base.
