Decorated around well with circle of four 3-petalled stylised flowers with leaf stems.

Reverse painted mainly in gilt and brown with scrolls extending over sticks; central motif of wheatsheaf, rake, hat, book. Fourteen horn sticks and 2 guards; Sticks below leaf pierced with central shaped cartouche containing cherub and 2 birds on cloud, backed with mother-of-pearl, and trellis ornament; gilt scrolls and flowers. On-glaze printed design in blue, red, yellow, green, of upright tulip between two arched tri-lobed ?buds with green upright strap leaves springing from ground; a tulip and leaves only each side of handle. Inside, opposite handle, a vertical measuring scale in blue from '2 ozs.' to '1 PINT'. 'Old Bristol Delft' pattern.
