Underneath the label are too more paper labels which are unreadable. Outside is decorated with finely carved geometric designs in panels. Some cracks around the edge, two repaired cracks.

Made from lengths of bamboo. Tied together with twine with a string cut from the lengths. Raised on two bamboo bridges. Each string bound with fibre. Back has raised strings, centre of which is bound with wide plant fibre and contains seeds or small stones that act as a rattle or vibrator to the notes when plucked.
