Hand operated vibrator comprising a 'key-hole' shaped sheet iron casing, nickel plated, enclosing gears from a crank handle to a disk of hard rubber at the broader end; a turned handle of beech, painted black, is fitted at the other end. On turning the crank handle the circular disk vibrates rapidly. "PAT 13932" is stamped on the hard rubber disk.

Decoration: the top is edged with fine black net, cut in shallow waves, with small black beads sewn on; at its lower edge, spiky black 'flowers' and buds are embroidered in black silk, highlighted with small black beads. The motif is extended along the toe, the heel is covered in black net.

Adverts include a butchers, timber merchants, an ironmongers, a cake shop, clothing stores, furnishers, a toy shop, a newsagent, a ladies' millinery, a steel merchants and a car specialist. Rag week programme is printed on the back and all the events took place at the Victoria Rooms, Clifton. These included a grand opening & exectution, an execution dance, a rag variety show, a rag auction, a rag ball, and rag procession.

Thank - you letter to the owner of a dog called Prince, whose image was used to encourage donations to the Bristol General Hospital. In total he raised £37.7.2. This was between 1915 - 1923.
